CHANGE

I'd like to talk about change.

Change can be good...change can be bad. I have had many "changes" in my life and I have learned so much because of it! ☺

~ I'll start with when my sister was born..it was just me for almost 9 years...I was an only child...it was wonderful. Then CHANGE happened and Nikki was born. To say I was happy wasn't totally right. I would say I was "meh". The day she was born I was given a banana and sent to school. I thought to myself, "I should get the day off too." Nope!! Then after school I got to go to the hospital and see her. I got to hold her...she was so cute...then....she farted on me!!

Then she started growing up...becoming cute and I loved her!! But then she would tell on me for $0.25!!! YES...A QUARTER!!! As she got older, we got closer!! We tell eachother important life happenings first!! I love her more then anything and am glad I have her now!! I can't imagine being an only child now. I hope some day my kids will feel the same way!! SIBLING LOVE!!!

~ Another change - constant moving!!! Saying we moved ALOT is an understatement!!! But I will say that it prepaired me to be able to handle all the change in my life!! It allowed me to be prepaired for moving my kids and having them come into a new school and deal with new kids....and at times mean kids. Them knowing that I actually know how they feel, makes them feel better.

Places I've lived: Houston, TX; Venezuela; Houston, TX; Naperville, IL; Gibsonia, PA; Milford, OH; Bowling Green, OH; Toledo, OH; Gadsden, AL; Birmingham, AL; Tucson, AZ and now Elkader, IA.

I am done moving...except to our forever home in Volga, IA.

All the moving has made me so many life long friends who I would call family any day. All the moving has made me a stronger person and made me be able to handle anything.
All the moving has made me come out of my shell and be me!!
I thank my parents for all the moving that made me the person I am today and to be able to teach my kids to be strong and handle new things and new places.
I thank my friends for allowing me to be a part of your lives at the time and for continued life long friendships. I treasure them!!!
